Parliament has today approved the bill regarding tax benefits in the first hearing with 77 votes.
According to the amendments to the Tax Code, elaborated within the crisis management plan, during the six months from May 1, 2020, for salaries of up to GEL 1,500 GEL, GEL 750 will be fully exempt from income tax.
It should be noted that this benefit will not apply to the budgetary organizations, the National Bank of Georgia, the National Regulatory Authority, the enterprises in which the state or the municipality holds more than 50% of the shares.
