The Embassy of the Netherlands in Georgia has released a statement through its facebook page to warn Dutch citizens and tourists in connection with Tbilisi Pride upcoming events.
“The week of the 18-23th of June has been declared the week of the Tbilisi Pride, with various events. Dutch tourists are advised to stay at a safe distance from the pride parade, because there is a risk that counterdemonstrations can lead to violent confrontations,” reads the statement.
