The government officials are not tested for coronavirus at this stage, – Paata Imnadze, Deputy Director of National Center for Diseases Control and Public Health said during the briefing held after the sitting of Coordination Council established at the order of Prime Minister for prevention of novel coronavirus in the country.
According to Imnadze, according to the new algorithm, a list of high-risk professions will be formed, representatives of which will be subjected to testing.
“We expect a new algorithm that has already been signed by the Minister. Based on these new algorithms, the representatives of the most high-risk professions will be tested periodically”, – Imnadze explained.
According to Imnadze, public servants who cannot work remotely may be periodically tested for COVID-19.
