Levan Kakava will head the Revenue Service

The Minister of Finance of Georgia, Ivane Machavariani introduced the new head of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance Levan Kakava.

 

According to Ivane Machavariani, the new head of the department has experience in working in the system, has strong managerial qualities and is a high-level professional.

 

“As a result of consultations with the Prime Minister, we have decided that Vakhtang Lashkaradze, the head of the Revenue Service, will resign and be replaced by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Levan Kakava. He has experience working in the Revenue Service. He held the position of Deputy Head of the Revenue Service. In various years he has worked in our neighboring organizations, both in the investigative and law enforcement agencies, dealing with the economic and financial sectors. Levan is a high-profile professional and has strong managerial qualities, ”the Finance Minister said.

 

He wished the new head of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance success in his future endeavors and noted that under his leadership the agency would continue its reform course.
