“Since my participation in politics made possible and facilitated the peaceful removal from power of the regime that was based on the oppression of the people, entering politics probably is the most valuable thing that I have done in my life,“- Bidzina Ivanishvili, the chairman of the ruling Georgian Dream party said in an interview with Entrepreneur Georgia.
Entrepreneur Georgia interested in Bidzina Ivanishvili’s business projects and charitable activities. As the chairman of the ruling Georgian Dream party noted, charity only has value when it is done without advertising. He added that he was faithful to these principles for years while engaging in this activity until politics entered his life.
“However, I will say that my participation in politics is the most valuable thing that I have done in terms of charity. In my opinion, along with selflessness, which is the essential postulate of true charity, participation in politics in that situation, under that government put at risk not only my property but my life and the lives of my family members.
To sum up the results, since my participation in politics, made possible and facilitated the peaceful removal from power of the regime that was based on the oppression of the people, entering politics probably is the most valuable thing that I have done in my life,“ – Bidzina Ivanishvili noted.
In his words, time to time the society will be informed about charity projects.
