"15 years have passed since the August war, after which, together with Abkhazia, more than 20 percent of the territory of Georgia was occupied by Russia.

 

We have repeatedly announced at the international level and I will repeat again that both the Tskhinvali region and Abkhazia are our indigenous lands and inseparable parts!

 

Our homeland will definitely restore its territorial integrity. We can't achieve this with strife, bloodshed, mutual enmity, lies... and we should all think about it.

 

The Church of Georgia delivers prayers at every service, both for the territorial integrity of the country and the spiritual unity of the nation; Also, we always remember those who dedicated themselves to the motherland, and even now I pray for the victims of the fratricidal war who died in Abkhazia and Tskhinvali region, including Ossetians and Abkhazians”, reads the address.
