I would call on our politicians not to make too much fuss, it is the result of their foolish actions that we lost the Kodori Valley, this is how the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili answered the journalists' question about the danger of annexation of Bichvinta.

According to the Prime Minister, the ruling team will unite the country with its reasonable policy.

"Not only Bichvinta, but also Abkhazia and Samachablo, Tskhinvali region is temporarily occupied by Russia. I would call on our politicians not to make too much fuss, it is the result of their foolish actions that we lost the Kodori Valley, which had nothing to do with this conflict, and more than 100 villages. We use our reasonable policy to maintain peace and stability in the country, we will unify our country with the same reasonable policy," said Irakli Gharibashvili.

For information, Bichvinta state cottages and 186 hectares of land around them are being transferred to the ownership of the Russian Federation. According to the reports, the agreement on the transfer of the territory was signed in Moscow on January 19, 2022, between the Government of the Russian Federation and the de facto authorities of occupied Abkhazia. The document states that the land where the buildings are located will be transferred for 49 years.
