Irakli Gharibashvili calls reports about his resignation "absurd"

24.06.22 17:30

According to Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili, he is not going to resign. As Gharibashvili explained, he received a mandate from the people and is obliged to "serve the people and the country."

"As for the resignation, of course, I am not going to resign, it is completely absurd. On the contrary, it is our obligation to fulfill all the conditions that we, our team, have undertaken.

I will remind you that I became Prime Minister in February last year, after we, our team, won elections, for the 8th time and received a mandate from people to serve our people and our country, so your question is inappropriate," Gharibashvili said.
