This was announced by the country's leader Xi Jinping at a ceremony dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party .

 

"The army must become a world-class armed force with even greater capabilities to reliably defend the country's sovereignty, security and development. "Given the experience gained in the past and securing the future, it is necessary to accelerate the modernization of the national defense and military forces," Xi Jinping said.

 

According to the Chinese leader, his country will receive positive experiences from other states.

 

"We want to study the achievements of other cultures. We also welcome helpful suggestions and positive reviews. "The Communist Party and the Chinese people are following the path it has chosen for the development and progress of the country," Xi Jinping added .

 


In late 2015, the Chinese government launched a vigorous reform of the armed forces, which many local and international experts have already called "the most radical" in the history of this army.
