Georgia lifts restrictions on gathering of more than three people

Restrictions on the gathering of more than three people both indoors and outdoors have been lifted from today in Georgia.

 

However, the restriction on the presence of no more than three people in the car is still in force.

 

"We have decided to lift the restriction on the gathering of more than three people, both indoors and outdoors, but this does not mean that the restriction on the presence of three people in the car will also be lifted. This restriction has an important epidemiological explanation. Our doctors have convinced us of this. The recommendations of professionals in the fight against the epidemic are critically important,” said Giorgi Gakharia said at the government meeting on May 14.
