According to the decision of the For Georgia party, the members bribed and won over by the Georgian Dream - Nugzar Shushania and Maka Chartia, have been expelled from the party, the executive secretary of the For Georgia party, Berdia Sichinava, said at a briefing.
According to him, Nugzar Shushania was promised to get the position of deputy chairman of the municipal council, while Maka Chartia was promised employment for his husband.
"Today, as a result of the pressure exerted by the Dream and the promise of financial benefits, 2 bribed members of the Khobi Municipal Council: Nugzar Shushania and Maka Chartia left the Khobi for Georgia faction. Nugzar Shushania was promised to get the position of deputy chairman of the municipal council, while Maka Chartia was promised employment for his husband", said Berdia Sichinava.
He also noted that when the sovereignty and independence of the country is threatened as a result of the deliberate policy of the Dream, and the country is facing the loss of the perspective of the European future, the ruling party continues a deliberate fight against the For Georgia party throughout Georgia.
“The Georgian Dream aggressively continues a deliberate fight against our political party throughout Georgia, including in the municipalities, including by seizing political power by using illegal methods, in which representatives of the criminal world are actively involved”, said Berdia Sichinava.
