We have achieved that we brought the members of Georgian Dream, who had gone on vacation, back to the Parliament, and now they are at least talking to each other so that you can cover it, Giorgi Vashadze, the leader of Strategy Builder, told journalists regarding the work process aimed at the implementation of the 12-point recommendations of the EU.

 

When asked why the opposition does not sit at the table with Georgia­n Dream, Vashadze said that the political parties should sit together at parliamentary committees and sessions, which Georgia­n Dream has boycotted.

 

"Let's not forget that the extraordinary session is still being sabotaged by the ruling Georgian­ Dream. They abused the constitution, unfortunately, when they refused to enter the session hall. What we do is act instead of talk," said Giorgi Vashadze.

 

For the fulfillment of the 12-point recommendations of the European Commission, the parliamentary opposition continues to work in the working groups formed by them.

 

The working group on media issues held a meeting in the Parliament, in which representatives of the media and non-governmental organizations participated.

 

Later today, a meeting will be held on gender issues, fight against organized crime and issues of justice.
