While visiting the Middle East, US President Joe Biden visited the Armenian Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, where he met with the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem, Archbishop Nurhan Manoukian". Father Koryun (Hovnan) Baghdasaryan, the Chancellor of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem, made the news.
As you know, the leader of the world's leading superpower won't make such gestures in respect of the Armenian community "just like that". Moreover, this community is not only influential in the US, but also super-powerful in Russia, which is in confrontation with the West. Therefore, the role of such "double agents", who undoubtedly include a significant part of the Armenian lobby "sucked up" to the authorities in Russia and occupying a number of key positions here, is dramatically increasing.
CIA Director William Burns arrived in Yerevan at almost the same time. This trip could not have coincided "accidentally" with the US President's visit to the Armenian church in Palestine. There is evidence of a deliberate policy by the US leadership to force the Armenian lobby and Armenia to "work off" the preferences given to it by the same US for so many years.
It has also become known that Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan will meet in Tbilisi on July 16, which means that the two countries are moving sharply towards concluding a peace treaty. Which is also welcomed by the US.
The authorities in Yerevan appear to have received certain guarantees from the US of Armenia's "preservation" and peace with its neighbours, in case ally and patron Russia fails to feed and protect it further. However, the Armenian figures will have a new stage of "work" to do "justice" to their new masters.
They have done the first part of this work. It was at the instigation of the Armenian lobby that Russia found itself embroiled in aggression against Ukraine and a protracted war. It is sufficient to analyse the speeches and posts on social networks of the Kremlin propagandists of "the oldest nationality", the same Margarita Simonyan, and compare them with the actions of the Russian Foreign Ministry under Lavrov-Kalantryan. Obvious conclusion suggests itself: Armenians thanked Russia in a peculiar way for preserving their nation and "presenting" them with statehood. Have they "thanked" Russia by dragging it into a fratricidal war with Ukraine, which, in fact, the entire collective West has already "interceded" for?
Now it is clear that the Russian Federation cannot continue the war in the previous format. Either a ceasefire must be urgently concluded and the de-occupation of Ukrainian lands must begin, but this would be the collapse of the entire policy of supporting separatist projects and redrawing borders, which the Armenian lobby has so stubbornly promoted. Either, on the contrary, it is necessary to move from "special operation" format aggression to a full-scale war with total mobilisation. Russian leader Vladimir Putin has already hinted at this, saying that in Ukraine "we have not yet started anything in earnest".
Soberly speaking, both scenarios mean defeat for Russia. But if, in the first case, the consequences of such a defeat can be minimized by abandoning claims to "superpower" but preserving both human resources and the country, the second scenario is ultimately fraught with catastrophe for Russia.
In case the Russian Federation mobilises its army and launches a new large-scale invasion of the remaining territory of Ukraine with the aim of a complete takeover, not only will the West increase its assistance to Ukraine, it may at some stage directly intervene in the war. Whatever the scale of the war after that (up to the nuclear "format"), the Russian Federation will not be able to stand alone against the collective West in such a war, as the forces are simply not comparable. As a result, after Russia's defeat, Armenia essentially loses its only "ally and breadwinner".
In all their hypocrisy and ostensible "Russian patriotism", representatives of the Armenian lobby cannot be said to be so naive as not to understand such obvious things. And if they are going to foment a "global war" at the behest of their "centres" in the West, they must be sure that with Russia's collapse, Armenia will retain its "reserve airfield" and will move painlessly under the patronage of the same United States.
Apparently the visits and meetings of both the US president and the CIA director are designed to give the Armenian lobby such "promises and guarantees" that they will continue their work of fomenting war and destroying Russia.
