While the Abkhazian society is reeling from the transfer of the greater part of the Pitsunda resort together with the state buildings under direct control of Russia, almost imperceptibly for this public it was "announced" that the so-called "Abkhazian statehood" would cease to exist.

This will happen very simply and the mechanism of such de facto annexation has already been described in the article "The Armenian lobby rushes to "erase" the border of Abkhazia, completely annex and buy it, and send Abkhazians to die in Ukraine.(http://kavkazplus.com/news.php?id=36600 ). At the time, Abkhaz politicians, in particular the head of the separatist "foreign ministry", Inal Ardzinba, tried to timidly oppose this. But today, erasure of the border has already been resolved.  And this was stated by no one else than the separatist "president" Aslan Bzhania during his "working" visit to Bashkortostan where in fact the "ruler" is the same representative of the Armenian lobby and wife of Bashkir president Radzhan Khabilov Karine (nee Baboyan).

Aslan Bzhania told journalists in Ufa that the separatist Abkhazia intends to organize free movement of people and cargo across the Psou river to Russia by 2024. In fact, this is nothing else but "erasure" of the border and annexation of Abkhazia.

"As for the Psou crossing point, we are working on this issue. This year, a decision was made to facilitate the crossing, but we set a goal not only for this year, we want, as it is spelled out in the intergovernmental agreement, to make this crossing, the movement of people, movement of goods, goods and services without restrictions, free movement", - said Bzhania and recalled that such erasure of the border was originally planned.

"In the big agreement that was signed in November 2014 between the presidents of Russia and Abkhazia, such conditions were spelled out. Unfortunately, this clause of the agreement has not yet been implemented, but within two years, I hope by 2024 it will be exactly like that," he added.

He says the conditions for easing the border regime have already been created, "but it requires certain preparatory, organisational and legal measures, and we are moving in that direction". Bzhania also stated that 11 million de facto cross the border every year, 99% of which are Russian Federation citizens.

It is clear that it is mostly Russian tourists who cross the border now. They usually go back to the Russian Federation. But some stay, primarily Armenian migrants. The number of which, compared to 11 million visitors is not striking, but in reality at least in addition to Abkhazian Armenians (their number has already reached about 200 000) tens of thousands of new settlers have settled in Abkhazia in the past two years. And a very large part of them moved from the separatist "Artsakh" that was liquidated by the Azerbaijani army in 2020. The mass resettlement of the remnants of the separatists is likely yet to come, when it becomes clear that Russian peacekeepers will leave Azerbaijani Karabakh in the next 3 or so years. 

So far, the presence of the border along the Psou River and the inconvenience "cuts" a single Armenian ethnic massif of the northern Caucasus and Abkhazia. But "erasing the border" will eliminate the last "inconvenience" in the settlement of Armenians in their new "historical homeland" (and that their historical falsifiers will "prove" their autochthonous origin in Abkhazia is beyond doubt). Thereby Abkhazia and neighbouring areas of Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation will completely turn into "seaside Armenia".

The most interesting thing is that the Abkhazians, whose attention is now so focused on the transfer of Pitsunda to Russia, have hardly noticed the statement of Aslan Bzhania. Perhaps manipulators have deliberately diverted attention of Abkhazians. Now Abkhazians are outraged at the loss of Pitsunda not realizing that their separatist "statehood" is already doomed along with Pitsunda and all other lands will fall under the complete control and jurisdiction of Russia. All the more that the puppet "president of Abkhazia" even mentioned a date when the border between Abkhazia and de facto annexing Russia will be erased - 2024.
