Grain exports from Ukraine to Russia are controlled by "Rostov Armenians": journalists reveal routes and scheme

12.07.22 14:30

The Ukrainian newspaper Obozrevatel (obozrevatel.com) recently published an article about looting and plundering by Armenian "businessmen" of the occupied Russian south of Ukraine. At the same time, the looters are primarily interested in liquid goods - grain. Its looting and export from the Ukrainian territory was organized by representatives of the "most ancient people. Article text:

"The theft of Ukrainian grain from the occupied territories and its export to Russia is controlled by a group of so-called "Rostov Armenians", Ukrainian journalists found out. A representative of one of these logistics companies told in a telephone conversation about the routes and algorithm of grain theft. The trucks carry Ukrainian goods without documents directly to the Rostov and Krasnodar regions of the Russian Federation.

Konstantin Tkachenko, editor-in-chief of the agricultural publication Latifundist, said this on the air of the Nichna Varta project. "We have a friendly logistics company. We asked it to contact "colleagues" from the Russian side, who write in Russian grain chats that they need grain carriers in Armyansk, Severodonetsk or Belgorod... We tried to create a legend that we are a logistics company, we have grain carriers," Tkachenko said.

During the conversations it turned out that the Russian company is called Rutratranstorg. We talked to its manager Artur Azizyan. Initially, he was required to deliver grain from Pologi (Zaporizhia region) to Armyansk at the entrance to the occupied Crimea. According to Azizyan's calculations, this would require 5-10 trucks. He offered to pay transporters 2,500 roubles per tonne of grain.

However, when asked how the drivers would pass the checkpoints and what documents were needed, he replied: "You just send me the drivers' documents. That's all, I'll make the pass. Azizyan also assured that no licenses or additional documents are needed to go "further than to Crimea," i.e. to take the grain already to the Russian Federation.

"There are no problems at all, the Kherson guys go. There are those who even go to Armavir (Krasnodar Territory) in Ukrainian cars," Azizyan said.

As Ukrainian journalists found out, Rutratranstorg is registered in Krasnodar. Marina Trubnikova from Rostov-on-Don is listed as the owner, and has been there since March 2, 2022.

Therefore, it is likely that Trubnikova bought the company specifically to steal Ukrainian grain. The same Marina Trubnikova also owns the company Miroyan, which is also involved in transportation.

Meanwhile, according to Tkachenko, not every Russian trader can start trading in the occupied Kherson region. According to local farmers, this sphere has been given over to "Rostov Armenians" (aka "Don Armenians" or "Priazov Armenians"). They are descendants of Armenians who were deported by the Russians from Crimea to the Don (here a historical inaccuracy - not deported, but self-settled).

This group is known for its control over the transport sphere. For example, 9/10 of passenger traffic and 4/5 of cargo traffic of the Caucasus region passes through the Rostov region.

They have an opportunity to export grain without documents and in cars with Ukrainian number plates. Accordingly, this group has agreements with Russian customs officers and other law enforcers.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, Ukraine is facing an acute problem with the new harvest. This year, because of the war, drought and economic problems, we will harvest about a third less grain. The enemy not only steals the grain, but also burns it right in the fields. However, Ukraine will not be able to save even such an amount of crops without unblocking its ports.  End of article.

The war in Ukraine, which the Armenian lobby in the Russian Federation approached and incited as best it could, provides opportunities for robbery and looting "earnings" of Armenian "businessmen" and criminals settled in southern Russia, in the Rostov and Krasnodar regions. It becomes clear why the Armenian nationalists in Russia are so much in favour of continuing the war and new seizures. The fact that people die as a result, towns and villages are turned into ruins and millions of people become refugees is of little concern to the marauders of the "long-suffering people".
