No one can stand against the enforcement of justice in our country, no matter how many MEPs come out, - the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili said, responding to the statements of MEPs regarding the case of Mikheil Saakashvili.
As Gharibashvili noted, it does not matter what the MEP will say.
"There is constant speculation that someone from the European Parliament comes out with a wise face and gives us wise advice. I will tell one thing to everyone that we found many Georgian surnames in this list. I haven't heard about Georgian MEPs, but I want to tell you one thing - no one can stand against the enforcement of law, enforcement of justice in our country, no matter how many MEPs come out. We have a fully transparent process, the rule of law is fully ensured, therefore it should be clear to everyone. It does not matter what the MEP says, because what matters to us is what our people say. Saakashvili has been brought to justice, he has committed many crimes, which are established by the prosecutor's office, the investigation and all instances of the court. Therefore, no one can stand against the law enforcement", - Gharibashvili said.
