Georgia to receive additional 168 thousand Pfizer jabs

Georgia will receive additional Covid-19 Pfizer vaccine jabs on July 31, said Amiran Gamkrelidze, Head of the National Center for Diseases Control and Public Health (NCDC).

 

According to Gamkrelidze, the epidemiological situation worsened in the country. He called on the population for immunization and claimed that there is no vaccines deficiency in Georgia.

 

Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia said that immunization with Pfizer would be possible both at ambulatories and hospitals.

 

Georgia reported 2 712 coronavirus cases, 1 561 recoveries, and 25 deaths on Friday, the official figures show.
