Minister of Finance: The audit has nothing to do with the Main Channel, speculation on this topic and earning political points is not good

According to the Minister of Finance of Georgia, Lasha Khutsishvili, the Investigation Service and the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance has not entered the Main Channel.

 

As the Minister of Finance writes on the social network, the Revenue Service conducts a planned tax audit at the advertising agency, which, along with other individuals, provides services to the Main Channel.

 

According to Lasha Khutsishvili, speculation about this topic, earning political points and talking about tax administration in the political context is not good.

 

He said wrong information is provided to the public, unfortunately.


“Reports were spread that the activities of the TV station may be interfered with - in addition to the fact that the audit has nothing to do with the Main Channel, this in- tax audit process does not even theoretically involve such a procedure as to interfere with the company's activities. They may waste a maximum of several hours in providing information to the auditor,"- said the Minister of Finance.
