The meeting between the majority and the parliamentary opposition is underway regarding the electoral reform in the parliament.
The participants of the meeting should share their proposals regarding the election legislation with each other. The agreed document will be sent to the Venice Commission.
The parties hope that their positions will be closer, but the chairman of the Legal Affairs Committee Anri Okhanashvili does not rule out that another meeting may be necessary.
This is the second meeting between the majority and the opposition regarding electoral reform. They held their first meeting in Kachreti three days ago.
