The French in Zangezur are like the ghost of Pol Pot over Armenia

07.05.21 10:05

Established by the terrorist organization Sasna Tsrer, the Armenian political initiative National Democratic Pole (NDP) submitted a letter to French President Emmanuel Macron requesting the deployment of French or "peacekeeping forces" on Armenia's southern border.

There is said: "The willingness of the French Senate to recognize the independence of "Artsakh" and your tremendous efforts to resume the peace process within the Minsk Group to restore international law, the demands of the French Foreign Ministry and the French society to release the Armenian prisoners held in Azerbaijan give hope and faith to protect the Armenian people from another genocide a century after the "Armenian Genocide,".

The Letter also notes that currently "an attempt is being made under a joint program of Russia, Turkey and Azerbaijan to alienate" the southern province of Armenia - Syunik - to provide Turkey with direct terrestrial communication with Azerbaijan and Central Asia through the so-called "The Meghri corridor" at the expense of Armenian territories and interests.

"In particularly, this project is aimed at eliminating Armenia's border and ties with Iran, thus permanently isolating and making our state unviable.

Therefore, in order to preserve Armenian statehood we find it necessary to apply to you with the request to consider the possibility of urgently deploying French or international peacekeepers to Armenia's southern border to protect the Armenian statehood and Armenia's territorial integrity," the letter says.

Let us remind that the Armenian political initiative "National-Democratic Pole" (NDP) is in fact the same organization "Sasna Tsrer" headed by a native of Lebanon (former French colony), fighter and participant of the first Karabakh war Jirayr Sefilian, who is an agent of the French special services for a long while. Recently, the terrorists of "Sasna Tsrer" have evidently been dragged into the big politics. For example, at the end of March the President of Armenia Armen Sargsyan had meetings with the members of the PDP. Armen Sargsyan was well aware of whom he was receiving and who was behind the PDP, and evidently, he didn't mind playing in the French interests, either.

France, being weak enough to bring entire regions under its control, has long apparently been "using the services" of terrorists and extremists to "blow up" entire regions and obstruct other geopolitical players. In Lebanon, the pro-Iranian extremist movement Hezbollah has been flirting with the French special services. And the influence of French secret services both in war-torn Syria and in Iran has a long history.

Syria is a former French colony and the Assad regime is implicitly supported by France. In Iran, the Islamic revolution took place after the plane with Ayatollah Khomeini, who was in France, flew there from Paris. Therefore, is it any wonder that despite the declared defense of Shiite Muslims all over the world, the Islamic Republic of Iran, in fact, supported Armenia which committed genocide and expulsion of over 1 million Shiite Muslims from Karabakh? Moreover, the participation of Armenia (on whose territory there is such a super-hazardous facility as the Metsamor NPP) in the Iranian nuclear program, as well as the "supervision" of such illegal and dangerous for the whole world "cooperation" by the French special services needs to be investigated further.

French influence in the region brought very little good.  The French, as colonizers, were by far the most brutal and atrocious, even when compared with the other, not so " kind", European colonizers.

Just consider the colonial war in Algeria, which led to a genuine genocide of the indigenous population. At the hands of the French persecutors, according to various calculations, between 1.5 and 2 million Algerians perished. French intervention in the Nigerian internal conflict and their support for the separatist entity of the "Biafra Republic" led to the civil war in Nigeria in 1967-1970, the bloodiest war in human history since World War II, which according to various estimates killed from 2 to 4 million people (in the end the separatists, despite French support, were finished).

The most horrible act of the French secret services was Pol Pot's regime in Cambodia (Kampuchea), during which up to 3 million people of the 7 million-strong country were annihilated between 1975 and 1979, by some estimates. That is, the Kampuchean people were "halved" in 4 years. Pol Pot himself studied in France, was a member of the French Communist Party, and in fact was sent by the French intelligence services to Cambodia to overthrow the out-of-France monarchy and establish a terrorist "communist" regime there. The end of Pol Pot's regime in Cambodia (renamed Kampuchea) came after he, on a tip from his French masters, unleashed an aggression against Vietnam, but "did not calculate his strength" and was overthrown by Vietnamese troops.

The French secret services, in order to achieve their destructive goals, can make use of the most odious, terrorist and bloody forces. It seems that the principle "the more blood, the better" is tacitly professed by those who promote the French presence in various regions of the world. Therefore, the fact that Armenia is getting "disappointed" in Russia (thanks to which the Armenian state actually exists) and is doing France no good for the Armenian people.

The same French agent Jirayr Sefilyan doesn't even hide that he is eager to plunge Armenia into a new war and the Armenian people into a new massacre just to prevent the organization of the "Zangezur corridor". He only seeks to prevent the development of the South Caucasus region, the peaceful international transit and the peaceful integration of Armenia into promising international projects. The fact that for the sake of this he is prepared to kill Armenians, any and in any quantity, his "Sasna Tsrer" has already proved by seizing the police station in Erebuni at the times of the former president Serzh Sargsyan.

For Armenians, the rule of the likes of Jirayr Sefilian could turn into a bloody terrorist regime, similar to that of another French Pol Pot appointee inside the country and a "war of self-destruction" on its external borders. The consequence of this may not be the mythical "genocide of 1915," but the very real genocide of the Armenian people.

The worst thing is that Russia, too, seems to be beginning to succumb to the blackmail of the pro-French lobby. In particular, French ambassador to Armenia Jonathan Lacotte recently announced that Putin and Macron would shortly make specific proposals for the resolution of the Karabakh conflict. This begs the question - what does Macron France have to do with the Karabakh conflict now? France played a very destructive role as a co-chair of the Minsk Group. The peace agreement was signed last November without France's participation. The key point in the implementation of this agreement is the corridor through Zangezur. And it is the "pro-French" forces that are most opposed to it in Armenia.

The role of France in the region is all the bit more destructive when Macron's interests in Armenia are represented by outright terrorists like Jiraj Sefilian. He does not even hide his Russophobia and desires to get rid of both Russia and the presence of Russian troops in Armenia.

The ambiguous role of French presidents in settling conflicts in the Caucasus is shown, for example, by the Medvedev-Sarkozy agreement on the results of the war in Georgia in August 2008. This agreement has not yet been implemented in terms of Russia's de-occupation of Abkhazia and the Tskhivali region of Georgia. Maybe Macron should pay more attention to the implementation of the agreement signed with one of his predecessors, instead of meddling in Karabakh and Zangezur and artificially inflaming the conflicts here?

It is also obvious that no one will let Macron and the French "well-wishers" into Azerbaijan's Karabakh anymore. Therefore, if France is "launched" into the South Caucasus, it will only intrigue against Russian interests in Armenia itself - and in no other way. The price of "blocking" the Zangezur corridor by the intrigues of the French puppets will be the ousting of Russia from Armenia and thus we should remind that the Russian influence is already decreasing.

If the provocateurs and revanchists succeed in igniting a new war, they are unlikely to reach their goals (except for the numerous new Armenian casualties, which they are apparently also counting on).  If there will be an attempt of revanchist war, the chances of defeated and demoralized Armenia in it are zero, and vice versa, it is Azerbaijan which has all chances to solve its geopolitical problems without intermediaries and "peacekeepers". That includes the Zangezur corridor.
