The majority of the society will see that the bill that we initiated is the closest and most compatible with the document proposed by Charles Michel, - Guram Macharashvili, said First Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Procedural Issues and Rules.

He said the only difference between the amnesty bills initiated by the opposition and the ruling team is the component of victim’s consent.

"The bill that we have initiated responds exactly to the pathos and principles set out in the Charles Michel document. The principles are the same in the document initiated by the opposition. The only difference is that the opposition has added the component of victim’s consent. Therefore, the difference between these two bills will mainly be the consent of the victim. We believe that, of course, through consultation with our opponents, the majority of the public will see that the bill we have initiated is the closest and most compatible with the document proposed by Charles Michel," Macharashvili said.
