Radical forces in Georgia are creating uncertainty over the resumption of air movement with Russia, which is too early to talk about, - Grigory Karasin, head of the Russian Federation Council's Foreign Affairs Committee, told Kommersant.

"It is too early to talk about air traffic. Radicals in Georgia (I remind you of the last case of Vladimir Posner) only add uncertainty to this issue. It was a completely ugly incident. We are pleased to hear a balanced statement by the Prime Minister of Georgia on this issue," Karasin said.

According to him, he continues to work online with Zurab Abashidze, Special Representative of the Prime Minister of Georgia for Relations with Russia.

"We have been making joint efforts since 2012 and it brings practical results in a number of important areas. The pandemic did not allow us to meet face to face in 2020, but we will continue to work online, "- said Karasin.
