Ivanishvili's special forces reach all the leaders who are fighting to save Georgia from this difficult situation of despair, misery and poverty, - this is how the third President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili responded to the arrest of Nika Melia, the chairman of the United National Movement.
"No such a thing has ever happened in the history of Georgia, in the last decades. The chairman and leader of the main opposition party was arrested in such a brutal manner, for completely invented reason. I want to understand why Ivanishvili is so focused on the National Movement, why he fights against the National Movement the most, why he uses everything to destroy this party and arrest its leaders. The point here is not that someone likes or dislikes Nika Melia, Saakashvili or even Nika Gvaramia. The point is that this is the main force whose main task is to free Georgia and the Georgian nation from poverty and slavery of Ivanishvili. This is the force that was able to create a successful experience of Georgia, which was recognized by the whole world. It is a force that has been able to continue the struggle despite so many years of repression. Ivanishvili's special forces will reach all the leaders who are fighting to save Georgia from this difficult situation of despair, misery and poverty. They will continue to do so because they have no other choice. And we have no other choice but to continue the fight until the final victory," Saakashvili said.
