According to Giorgi Vashadze, leader of Strategy Builder, if Giga Bokeria remains on the leading position in the party, it will be difficult to form a coalition with European Georgia.
As Giorgi Vashadze told InterPressNews, the reason for this is that people are looking for something new.
"We have not discussed this inside the party, but it will probably be difficult to form a coalition with European Georgia in similar case. It will be difficult as people want new processes in the country and that is not just my position. Therefore, I hope that there will be a process of renewal in European Georgia, which will eventually give us a new center of attraction.
People are looking for something new. I think there are politicians who can play a bigger role in the backstage than in the front line, and also, there are politicians who, on the contrary, should be in the front line,” said Giorgi Vashadze.
Negotiations are reportedly underway between Strategy Builder, Lelo and European Georgia, as well as Elene Khoshtaria and Zurab Japaridze to form a new political coalition. However, according to reports, the politicians consider a coalition with European Georgia only if the party is renewed and the existing leaders - Davit Bakradze, Gigi Ugulava and Giga Bokeria - are removed from the reins of power.
