According to Amiran Gamkrelidze, head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, restrictions will be lifted not at once, but gradually.
According to him, at the Interagency Coordination Council, Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia instructed the Ministries of Health and Economy to develop a plan for gradually lifting restrictions in the country.
"There was such an instruction that the Ministry of Health and Economy develop a plan during these two days for gradually lifting restrictions in the country, like the one we had in the spring,” Gamkrelidze said.
According to him, certain business will be opened at the first stage and they will be under observation, in order to make a decision on opening of other businesses at the second stage.
He added that lifting the restrictions should start from the education sector.
