Traffic movement restrictions are imposed throughout Georgia due to the heavy snowfall, the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure informs.
Movement is prohibited for heavy vehicles across the Nakerala Pass section of the Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri highway.
The movement of trucks, trailers, and vehicles with more than 30 seats is not allowed at Akhaltsikhe-Ninotsminda road of international importance due to poor visibility and strong wind. Movement is free for light motorcars.
The traffic movement is restored at the Khaishi-Lakhamula section of the Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdila highway following the road cleaning works.
