Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia made his political choice at the Mtatsminda polling station. As the Prime Minister told reporters, all politicians should feel responsible and the political processes should be shifted to the parliament.
At the same time, Gakharia says that the government and the opposition should learn to work together.
"In the second round, of course, I made a choice in favor of ending the election process as soon as possible. Georgian voters in the first round, during the pandemic, as well as in the second round, during the pandemic, expressed confidence and charged all the politicians with a great responsibility. All these politicians should feel this responsibility and, of course, the political process should move to political formats. This is the most important thing. No matter how big the difference is between us, we have to learn to negotiate with each other, we have to learn to take responsibility and we have to learn to work together. This is the order of our citizens and voters, in addition, this is how a democratic and European state is built", - Gakharia said.
