Ekaterine Tikaradze: We are not discussing the introduction of a state of emergency, we do not consider it necessary at this stage

We are not discussing the introduction of a state of emergency, as we do not consider it necessary at this stage, - said the Minister of Health, Ekaterine Tikaradze, after the meeting of the Coordination Council.

According to Tikaradze, the engagement component of family doctors in the management process of coronavirus patients has recently increased.

"We are working on and discussing protocols, including the stabilization protocol, as well as the discharge protocol, to make the management of patients more active at the level of hospitals and COVID hotels. We have also developed a number of protocols for family doctors. All our citizens probably feel how much the involvement of family doctors in their management component has intensified. We are taking additional steps to ensure that each citizen is managed by his/her personal family doctor and in this regard we have quite flexible protocols", - Tikaradze said.
