According to Soso Pkhakadze, President of the Georgian Business Association, the government is likely to continue providing 200 GEL assistance.

 

In addition, as Pkhakadze noted after the meeting between the business sector and the Prime Minister, the government plans to present a new package of initiatives.

 

"With regards to the 200-GEL assistance, if I remember correctly, the Prime Minister noted that it will continue, there was no more specifics. However, as we have learned, the government is going to not only continue this assistance but also to introduce whole new package of initiatives. We understand very well that the pandemic has not gone anywhere, it continues, so we are sure that the government will have to take certain steps and I think it is very rational and right", - said Soso Pkhakadze.
