2 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and 1 support staff tested positive for coronavirus

1 employee of the Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and 1 employee of the contractor cleaning company of the Ministry tested positive for Novel Coronavirus, - reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

 

"As a result of the testing conducted on September 14-15, COVID infection was confirmed, as well as to the patrol - inspector of the Tbilisi Main Division of the Patrol Police Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who was on a business trip in the Adjara region.

 

All employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, with whom the infected persons had direct contact, are placed under the observation of epidemiologists. Medical staff of the National Center for Disease Control is currently working to identify the source of their infection and conduct contact research as well.The infected are being treated at the clinic, their condition is stable", - reads the statement.
