All persons who’ve had contact with MP Levan Gogichaishvili after September 5 will be self-isolated and tested in accordance with the recommendation of the National Center for Disease Control, according to the Parliament of Georgia reports.

 

The legislative body will continue to function in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the National Center for Disease Control.

 

Relevant epidemiological measures will be taken in the Parliament building.

 

"As it is known, MP Levan Gogichaishvili has tested positive for the coronavirus infection. According to the recommendation of the National Center for Disease Control, all persons who have had contact with him after 5 September will be self-isolated and tested.

 

The working space of the MP will be cleansed with special disinfectants. In addition, regular disinfection of the Parliament building will continue. Upon entering the building, all persons will undergo thermal control. The use of face masks is also monitored. The legislative body will continue to function in accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the National Center for Disease Control," reads the statement of the Parliament of Georgia.
