Holding events and rituals to be banned from tomorrow, opening of theaters and cinemas postponed for a month

Weddings, festive events and funeral rituals will be banned from September 10, - Natia Mezvrishvili, Head of the Governmental Administration, said after the Coordination Council meeting.

 

"Weddings, festive events and funeral rituals will be banned due to the epidemiological situation from tomorrow. As you know, this restriction only applied to closed space, while hence it will apply to open space as well," Mezvrishvili said.

 

In addition, according to Mezvrishvili, the opening of theaters and cinemas, as well as children's entertainment centers, has been postponed for a month, till November 1.
