Schoolchildren of grades I-IV to attend lessons in classrooms, students of grades V-XII may have online lessons several days a week

09.09.20 14:30

According to the protocol developed by the Ministry of Education, it is mandatory for schoolchildren of grades I-IV to attend lessons in the classrooms, while students of grades V-XII may have online lessons several days a week.

According to the recommendations developed by the Ministry of Education and Science, each school will be allowed to choose a teaching model. In particular, they may introduce a mixed, so-called hybrid model according to their infrastructure. However, the hybrid model, which involves learning both in the classroom and remotely, does not apply to children in grades I-IV, as it is mandatory for them to attend lessons only in the classrooms.

The hybrid model shall be agreed with the Ministry and the Educational Resource Center.
