Archil Talakvadze to return to parliamentary activities and election campaign from today

The Chairman of the Parliament Archil Talakvadze completed his stay in self-isolation. As Archil Talakvadze told InterpressNews, he will return to parliamentary activities and election campaign from today.

 

The Speaker of the Parliament also addresses the citizens and advises them to pay maximum attention to wearing a face mask, to observe social distancing and to use disinfectants in order to take care of each other's health.

 

"Although I did not test positive for Covid-19, according to the rules, I went through a period of self-isolation and now I'm returning to active parliamentary activities and the election campaign. We should all take care of each other's health and safety. I was inquiring about the health condition of my bodyguard every day and I am glad that his treatment is going without any complications. I wish him a speedy recovery. The use of face mask and observing the disinfection rules has protected me and the vast majority of my colleagues from contracting the virus. I once again call on the citizens to pay maximum attention to wearing the face mask, to observe social distancing and to use disinfectants", - Archil Talakvadze told InterPressNews.

 

For reference, Archil Talakvadze has been in self-isolation since the end of August. The speaker of parliament moved to self-isolation after his bodyguard was confirmed to have the coronavirus.
