A total of 187 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in occupied Abkhazia last week

The number of people infected with coronavirus is increasing in occupied Abkhazia. This week, as a whole, the so-called ministry of health identified 187 confirmed cases out of 1076 tested, - reports "Sputnik".

 

According to the so-called minister of health, Tamaz Tsakhnakia, most of the cases are contacts of infected patients.

 

As Tsakhnakia states, the problem related to the middle and junior rank medical staff is still relevant.

 

According to Tsakhnakia, the doctors work in Gudauta hospital for a week in accordance with the shift schedule approved by the so-called ministry, after which they have to go through a two-week quarantine.

 

According to him, a second group of Russian doctors has arrived in occupied Abkhazia, who will stay in Gudauta hospital until the end of September, before being replaced by a third group of doctors from Russia.
