02.09.20 14:25

“Although we have 38 new coronavirus cases today, schools will be reopened,” said Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia at the inter-Agency Coordination Council on COVID-19.

“The educational process in schools should start on September 15 and the Ministries of Education and Health should be fully mobilised,” noted Gakharia.

Georgian PM called on the relevant services to tighten security measures.

“I would like to urge Tbilisi City Hall to tighten measures in public transport, shopping venues, as it is September, vacationers are returning to the city and getting back into a routine after holiday. We have to adjust to live with such restrictions and discomfort for a while,” said Giorgi Gakharia.
