European Georgia will support Giorgi Vashadze in Isani majoritarian district

The meeting of the representatives of the opposition is taking place in the office of the Labor Party.

 

As Levan Tarkhnishvili, a member of European Georgia, told reporters before the meeting, today's gathering is an indication that opposition unity continues.

 

Levan Tarkhnishvili discussed the nomination of Khatia Dekanoidze as a majoritarian candidate in the Isani majoritarian district by the United National Movement and noted that by this act, the United National Movement had violated the opposition agreement.

 

"European Georgia remains committed to the agreement reached. Therefore, we will support Giorgi Vashadze. We are not talking about individuals, we are talking about the process and the protection of the agreement. European Georgia believes that the agreement has been violated by the National Movement. It is unfortunate. We believe that it does not have any moral or professional justification. We hope that other agreements will be observed. The fact that we are holding a meeting here today is one of the indications that the opposition unity continues. There will be other agreements and the unity will be maintained", - stated Tarkhnishvili.
