Russia and the so-called Ministry of Defense of occupied Abkhazia will make changes to the cooperation plan because part of the planned events didn't take place due to the coronavirus, - reported the Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu at the meeting with his so-called Abkhaz counterpart.

According to Shoigu, the Russian side intends to develop a normative legal framework in the field of defense in the future, in order to increase military and technical cooperation and to turn bilateral agreements into a practical one.

As Shoigu noted, he is confident that a bilateral military partnership would contribute to peace and development in Abkhazia.

Shoigu also stressed that he is glad that "Abkhazian friends are participating in international military games" and wished them success.

For reference, the so-called armed forces of the occupied Abkhazia are participating for the first time in the "International Military Games", which are being held in Russia.
