Archaeological discovery on Grakliani Hill

Archaeological expedition of Tbilisi State University has discovered new archaeological artefacts on Grakliani Hill, dating back to II-I millennia B.C.

 

During the fieldwork, large quantities of ceramic and metal inventory were found in the tombs on the first terrace.

 

New discoveries were made during the study of the remains of a temple complex of the V-IV centuries BC, where artefacts related to the production of metal items were first identified.
