Mamuka Mdinaradze: We need arguments because the case concerns an MP and his detention

I, as a responsible politician, cannot say in advance whether I will support or not suspension of Nike Melia from MP’s mandate, - Mamuka Mdinaradze, chairman of the Georgian Dream faction, told journalists.

 

According to him, the Georgian Dream is going to carefully listen and discuss the case and make a decision only after that.

 

"I have not heard answers to my questions from the Prosecutor's Office. We need answers to additional questions in order to make a right decision. We need arguments because the case concerns an MP and his detention. It is not easy to allow such a precedent, regardless of whether I like Nika Melia or not," Mdinaradze said.
