Amiran Gamkrelidze doesn't exclude that 3 villages of Gardabani Municipality might be locked

Amiran Gamkrelidze, Director of the National Center for Disease Control, doesn't exclude that, due to the epidemiological situation, 3 villages of Gardabani Municipality might be locked.

 

As Gamkrelidze stated, if the NCDC can't conduct big scale checks in the Municipality, the only solution left will be to lock it down.

 

"I don't exclude that these radical measures might be taken, if the inhabitants of the villages do not cooperate and if we can't conduct big scale checkings in the settlement, then the only step left will be to isolate these three villages and lock it. The Coordinating Council is discussing this and will make a corresponding decision. In the meantime, we ask the inhabitants once again to be more amenable", - stated Gamrelidze.
