Out of the 11 new COVID-19 cases revealed in Georgia, four are imported and 7 represent contacts of the already confirmed cases – said Marina Ezugbaia, Medical Director of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases. According to Ezugbaia, the imported cases represent truck drivers.
A total of 162 patients continue medical treatment at COVID Centers. The 23 patients infected with novel coronavirus are receiving treatment at Hospital of Infectious Diseases.
Georgia reported 11 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) bringing the total number of infected persons to 1039, according to stopcov.ge.
One more patient recovered from the novel virus in the latest 24 hours, increasing the total number of recovered patients to 900.
