New systems will be installed to provide water supply to the population of Pasanauri

The United Water Supply Company of Georgia plans to build and rehabilitate the water system of Pasanauri. This was reported to InterpressNews by the United Water Supply Company.

 

According to them, the company has already announced a tender for the project. Receipt of bids will end on July 10 this year.

 

After the completion of the tender, the identified winning company must complete the construction and rehabilitation works of the water supply system of Pasanauri borough in 6 months.

 

"At the moment, the population of Pasanauri enjoys a stable water supply, however, due to the outdated and depreciated network, there are frequent damages, which causes discomfort to the population in terms of water supply.

 

Under the project, the existing system will be upgraded and completely new water infrastructure will be constructed. The project will be funded from the state budget with 1,700,000 GEL. Upon completion of the works, up to 1,200 people will be provided with 24-hour, quality water supply.

 

Giga Mandaria, Director of the United Water Supply Company, informed the Majoritarian MP, representatives of the local municipality and the initiative group about the planned works in Pasanauri last week, ”the United Water Supply Company said in a statement.
