I promise our citizens that their right to health will be protected and we will not take any step back, - the Minister of Health, Ekaterine Tikaradze, said in her speech at the presentation of the Ministry's 2019 report.

 

"From the point of view of the Ministry of Health itself, it is important to carry out the globally necessary reforms that provide both financial and geographical access for our citizens, and quality health care services will be available to any social class. At this point, I promise my citizens that no step will be taken to protect their right to health and access to health care, ”said Ekaterine Tikaradze.

 

She also spoke about social policy and noted that in the first year of his ministry, a structural unit was set up where a full package of social care was merged.

 

She said labor safety had improved significantly over the past year and that its role in the pandemic was significant. "Georgia was the second country after the United States to develop all the necessary recommendations from the Labor Safety Agency to create a safe working environment in the conditions of Qovid," the minister said.
