Socially vulnerable, sole, older-aged citizens in Poti City provided with food products and basic hygienic means

In cooperation with Georgia Red Cross Society, APM Terminals Poti supported socially vulnerable, sole, older-aged citizens of Poti city with food products and basic hygienic means, APM Terminals Poti has told InterPressNews.

 

“During the pandemic of COVID-19, when peoples’ lives have significantly changed, it is very important for us to take care of the community we operate in. In view of our corporate social responsibility, we have collaborated with @Georgia Red Cross Society to support Poti people of 70+ age group, from the socially fragile background with essential needs.”

 

Within the initiative of Poti Sea Port Corporation, 60 beneficiaries were provided with the aid parcels.

 

With the similar purpose of standing for people in need during COVID-19, APM Terminals Poti has once more, for several years, cooperated with “Coalition for Social Reforms” – Poti Day Care Center for Children with Special Needs.

 

Earlier, APM Terminals Poti donated GEL 100,000 to STOPCOV Fund.
