Paata Imnadze: 822 tests have been conducted and 29 new cases have been identified in the last 24 hours

According to Paata Imnadze, Deputy Director of the National Center for Disease Control, 822 tests have been conducted on coronavirus in the last 24 hours and 29 new cases have been identified.

 

According to him, more than 12 thousand tests have been conducted in the country in total.

 

"One patient is in Kutaisi and 4 new cases have been added in Tbilisi, which is related to one of the hospitals. 822 tests were done in 24 hours and as you know, there are 29 new cases. 919 tests were conducted yesterday and there were 25 new cases. As of today, more than 12,000 tests and more than 5 000 "rapid tests" were conducted in the country in total," Imnadze said.
