The government imposes strict lockdown on Bolnisi city, Rachisubani village

On the recommendation of the Bolnisi Public Health Center, due to the high epidemiological risk, the town of Bolnisi and the village of Rachisubani were closed and declared as a strict quarantine zone.

 

As InterPressNews was informed by the Bolnisi Municipality, the City Hall has decided to close the city and village locks in order to prevent the large-scale spread of coronavirus in the municipality. Blockades were set up at the city and village borders by police.

 

According to them, transportation of food and medicines to the quarantine zone will be carried out without any delay.

 

"We would like to remind you that apart from the town of Bolnisi and the village of Rachisubani, Kvemo Bolnisi, Savaneti, Balichi, and Kazreti have also been declared as strict quarantine zones in Bolnisi municipality. Bolnisi Municipality urges you to strictly follow the quarantine rules and recommendations, stay at home and take care of your health!” the local municipality said.
