Georgian PM - OECD names Teleschool (Teleskola) as a successful project

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has stressed that the model of distance learning introduced in Georgia over the past month is one of the most successful projects in the world, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said at today’s meeting at the Government Administration.

 

Georgian PM paid tribute to the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of Georgia as its steps could prevent the academic year.

 

“OECD has pointed out an educational project – Teleschool (Teleskola) as one of the successful projects. Those are the steps that can enable us to overcome a challenge such as the announcement of the academic year. This is critically important,” Giorgi Gakharia said.
