Separatist Abkhazia “explodes”. Will the puppet Khajimba be replaced by the “General Governor”?

10.01.20 13:15

In separatist Abkhazia, the situation sharply worsened. Protesters against falsifications of the so-called "presidential" election of 2019, the Abkhaz seized the administration of the puppet "president" Raul Khadjimba. Under pressure from the protesters, the separatist “parliament” gathered for emergency settlement and “recommended” the same Khadjimba to resign. But Raul Khadjimba is not going to leave - he issued an appeal and threatened to introduce a state of emergency.

In general, the separatist “president” Khajimba is a unique figure in many respects. According to the plans of the Russian Federation occupying Abkhazia and the main instigator of Abkhazian separatism - the Armenian lobby, Khadjimba was to become a separatist “president” immediately after the departure of the first puppet Vladislav Ardzimba. But through elections, even in conditions of occupation and fraud, this could not be done. Then in 2014, they decided to use essentially someone else’s “work” - “Maidan”, with the same administrative building grabs as it is now going on.

The Abkhazian Maidan in 2014 by the standards of this century can be considered unique. He passed under the slogans of establishing a system of apartheid and depriving Georgians of all human rights only on the basis that they are Georgians. But this “Maidan” was enthusiastically supported by the Armenian and pro-Armenian media.

As a result, in May 2014, the then separatist “president” of Abkhazia Alexander Ankvab left his office under pressure from the protesters breaking into the building. The same happened on January 9, 2020, to Raul Khajimba himself. But then in 2014 Khadjimba was declared “the hope of the Abkhaz people” and “a fighter against Georgianization”.

After Alexander Ankvab resigned, Raul Khadjimba became the main candidate for “president” of Abkhazia in the early elections on August 24, 2014. At the same time, 22 thousand Georgians of Gali, as well as neighboring Ochamchire and Tkvarcheli districts, were not allowed to vote in 2014 with the request of Khadjimba. Their separatist passports were canceled and since then they have been completely disenfranchised. But naturally, all the Armenians of Abkhazia (which in fact are already the majority in the separatist "republics") in 2014 friendly voted for Raul Khadjimba.

During the first presidential term of Khajimba, the degradation of the Abkhaz ethnic group in the conditions of monstrous corruption, rampant crime and drug addiction continued, as did the strengthening of the positions of the Abkhaz Armenians. Therefore, it is not surprising that in the 2019 elections it was the Armenians who again “made” Raul Khadjimba a separatist “president”. This is recognized by many, in particular, the well-known journalist Anton Krivenyuk familiar with Abkhazian realities. According to him, "the second round was won largely due to the" corporate "vote of representatives of individual ethnic communities, primarily the Armenian one."

And this is no accident, Khadjimba’s second term was supposed to be a time of mass sale of Abkhazian real estate and land to the same representatives of the Armenian diaspora in Abkhazia who did not have separatist citizenship, which was already “announced” at the highest level. What Khadjimba was not going to and is not going to worry about is about the interests of the Abkhazians themselves, not related to the clans under power.

But now it’s already obvious that it is impossible to ensure the further rule of Raul Khajimba. But this does not mean at all that the invaders and the Armenian "masters" of Abkhazia will agree that the Abkhaz dispose of their land. And in social networks, the propaganda of introducing direct external rule in occupied Abkhazia is already a direct test. Under the good pretext of "protecting the interests of the Abkhaz people."

So the singer of Abkhazian separatism, the journalist of the Moscow TV channel “Tsargrad”, Mikhail Tyurenkov, on his Facebook page offers the following indirect text:

“The opposition in Abkhazia may seize the building of the Presidential Administration. This has already happened. The Abkhaz opposition may even overthrow the president. And it already "passed". But the socio-political situation in Abkhazia can only be changed by a Russian governor-general who is equally distant from intra-Abkhaz contradictions and corruption schemes, sincerely respecting the Abkhaz people. I am writing this with heartfelt love for the Abkhaz brothers and unfeigned respect for the huge sacrifices achieved by Abkhaz independence”.

Mikhail Tyurenkov does not explain how the concepts of “independence” and “general governor” are consistent. But then this is what his Armenian friends need, who perfectly remember how the same “governor-general” Paskevich settled them on the Georgian and Azerbaijani lands of the South Caucasus.

Everything goes to the point that “playing democracy” will soon cease in separatist Abkhazia. And here a tough occupation regime will be arranged with the Russian, and possibly immediately with the Armenian "general governor".
