It seems Armenia has set itself the task: to quarrel friendly states - Georgia and Azerbaijan by any means and provocations. And for this purpose, he does not disdain the most arrogant lie, and from the lips of his most senior leaders.

The most important thing is that Artak Davtyan is brazenly lying about the alleged “violation” of the Georgian border by the Azerbaijanis, despite the fact that the Armenian-Georgian border has long been violated almost over its entire length.

Armenian border guards constantly unilaterally “move” the border illegally establishing their posts on Georgian territory.

Tens of square kilometers of Georgian territory are illegally occupied by Armenia. In order not to give Georgia the “illegally seized Georgian lands” by Armenia, Armenia deliberately slows down the process of demarcation and delimitation of the border with Georgia. At the same time, continuing to “move” the border northward.

For example, at the time of the collapse of the USSR, the Khujabi monastery was located in Georgia. However, the Armenian border guards illegally shifted the border at this site about 400 meters to the north, and now the monastery is captured by the Armenian side is about 300 meters from the line of the illegal “border” arbitrarily established by Armenia. Moreover, the attempt of Georgian journalists in 2005 to visit the Georgian monastery ended in the fact that the Armenian border guards opened fire on them.

The border is “shifted” by Armenia illegally in other areas, sometimes even more than in the area of ​​the Khujabi monastery. Armenia has captured the best border agricultural lands of Georgia, pastures, and forests.

The Armenian border guards do not stop there, they make "raids" on Georgian territory, repairing real terror against residents of Georgian border villages, regularly taking them hostage in Georgian territory allegedly for "violating the border."

And at the same time, the chief of the General Staff of Armenia dares deceitfully accuse Azerbaijan of violating the Georgian-Azerbaijani border. Moreover, in the area where the Armenian military at the junction of the borders of the three countries regularly illegally enter Georgian territory!

Such a lie of the Armenian general means one thing - the Armenian side will not stop at any provocations on the border in order to rekindle new conflicts in the region. Both on the Georgian-Armenian border, and on the Georgian-Azerbaijani border, and especially at the junction of the borders of the three countries.

Along with the unfounded accusation against Azerbaijan, as if emphasizing its role as a “great military commander,” General Artak Davtyan “reassured” the Armenian public that the Armenian army “stands on its own positions”. And, they say, thanks to the “positions” of the Armenian army, the actions of Azerbaijan so far do not “pose a threat to Armenia.

“The statements (from the Azerbaijani side) about the establishment of control over the gas pipeline and the road (from Georgia to Armenia.) Do not correspond to reality. There are no serious concerns in this area and we do not expect them to appear, given our positions,” the head of the Armenian General Staff emphasized.

But Artak Davtyan should first of all immediately take away the positions of the Armenian army and Armenian border guards in the Georgian territories illegally occupied by them. Armenia must return all Georgian lands illegally captured by creeping “border movement”, primarily the Khujabi monastery. And this is not to mention the fact that Armenia should immediately stop supporting the separatist regimes in Tskhinvali and Sukhumi, the so-called "independence", which it officially recognizes through the so-called "NKR" created in the occupied Azerbaijani lands of Karabakh.
